Q: How do I purchase wristbands or raffle tickets:

A: Visit our Givebacks site (here) to purchase your wristbands, raffle tickets and pre-order dinner now through October 1st at 5pm. Any purchases after this time will be during the event. We will also offer cash and/or check options but prefer online purchases.

Q: What are the prices? 

A: Pre-sale wristbands are $20 each and raffle tickets are $10 each. Day of wristbands are $25.

 

Q: What is the day and time of the event

A: Friday October 4th from 4:15 - 6:15pm. We have a hard stop promptly at 6:15p given it gets dark shortly thereafter.

Q: Do adults need tickets?

A: No, tickets are only needed for children.  Children 4 and under are free to attend.

Q: Can I pre-order dinner? 

A: Yes, this year King Neptunes has graciously offered to provide food for the festival.  Visit our Givebacks site (here) to pre-order your dinner

Q: When will I receive my wristbands and/or raffle tickets? 

A: These items will be sent home in your students folder on Wednesday, October 2nd. If you dont have your wristband on October 3rd and you purchased one, please email the PTA at wrightsvillebeachpta@gmail.com

Q: What do the markings on my wristband mean?

A: Each wristband will have a P for popcorn, W for water and C for cotton candy.  These items are included free of charge with your child's wristband.  Head over to the concession stand to redeem them and we’ll cross through the item(s) they receive.

Q: What should my child wear?

A: We encourage students and children to wear socks and tennis shoes.  Unfortunately there are lots of sand spurs and fire ant nests at WB park so we want to protect those little feet. 

​

Q: Is Parking Free?

A: Yes, during the event, parking at WB park is free

Q: What is the deadline for the advance ticket price?  

A: All presale purchases must be completed by 5pm on Tuesday, October 1st

​

Q: Do I need cash or a credit card during the event?  

A: We encourage you to bring some just in case.  If you would like to purchase a wristband or raffle tickets at the door, you’ll need cash or check. We will also have King Neptune's and Port City Pops onsite during the event.

Q: Is there a prize for the highest raffle tickets sold? 

A: Yes, the grade with the highest raffle ticket sales will receive a pizza and popsicle party.
